  OPEN POSITIONS:

 

 CONSTRUCTION JUNIOR ENGINEER

Tecnimont designs and realizes industrial plants around the world in petrochemicals, oil&gas, fertilizers and power fields with a great focus on the development of the green economy. The value of the plants, which often exceeds one billion euros, and their complexity require a solid organization of Construction activities, during which the Construction Engineer is central. He/she works with stakeholders to develop and implement methodologies that ensure high levels of safety, quality and compliance with construction times and costs. He/she deals with feasibility studies, modularization studies, evaluation of subcontractors that operationally carry out the construction phases.

In this regard, we are looking for a young engineer, preferably with a Mechanical Degree, ager to learn and to join a highly dynamic and fast changing environment, with willingness to work in multicultural and multiethnic place of work. Availability and willingness to face abroad site experience would represent a preferential channel.

 

 AWP PROFESSIONAL

 

We are looking for a new resource to complete the AWP Professionals Group, as part of the Construction Department.

Role description To Collaborate and assist AWP Champion or AWP Group Leader to implement Construction AWP Methodology and deliverables and to support Project and Site team during all phase The Construction AWP Group is looking for a person able to manage:

 • Develop and apply AWP Methodology for entire project assigned;

• Assist and collaborate with the Construction AWP group in the implementation of new techniques for applying the AWP methodology

 What is AWP Methodology? The AWP process strategically breaks down the Construction workflow into distinct and manageable work packages. The Advanced Work Packaging methodology is based on a Construction and Commissioning driven approach oriented to a back/front project planning and execution plan to define the execution of the packages in a EPC project. The result is an integrated relation of activities and phases to ensure that Engineering and Procurement teams remain focused throughout the Project cycle with the needs of Construction and Commissioning. The AWP process commences in early engineering and cascades through the project life cycle to provide the construction team the ultimate deliverable, the Installation Work Packages (IWP). Main Responsibilities:

 

• Prepare the Project AWP plan, together with the AWP Champion and participate to the related implementation, as requested by the AWP Champion/ AWP Group Leader; 

• Participate in the development of Path of Construction and Construction Schedule, following up the relevant Action list; • Provide first draft of project documentation related to AWP, gathering information from the other relevant technical disciplines, for further finalization with the AWP Champion/ AWP Group Leader;

• Participate in the set up of the tools and in the applying of the AWP methodology within the assigned project/s;

• Participate to the preparation of the information flow on EWP and PWP for the related application on the Site;

• Provide technical assistance, for all matters related to AWP, to AWP Champion/AWP Group Leader in monitoring the AWP implementation within AWP Project Plan; When relocated at Site, the AWP Junior Engineer shall:

• Participate to the implementation of AWP Methodology, under the coordination of the AWP Champion, Site Manager and Construction Manager; • Participate to the reporting to Project Control of the actual data flow (IWP produced by subcontractor).

SUBCONTRACT ADMINISTRATION ENGINEER

Activities and main responsibilities are: check in detail the accounting submitted by subcontractors, in particular verify quantities (to be calculated in accordance with the drawings issued for construction and in accordance with Methods of Measurement defined in the Subcontract), verify correct application of unit prices (to be in accordance with the contract price list, and Subcontract requirements), verify correctness of all calculations; assists Subcontract Administration Manager in the evaluation and verification of extra works, expedite and ensure timely receipt of accountings and other deliverables from Subcontractors; maintain proper filing of all Subcontracts and accounting documents in accordance with the relevant procedure.

COMMISSIONING JUNIOR ENGINEER

He/she ensures the development of the deliverables of the Project pertaining to commissioning within the project. He operates in compliance with the quality requirements, health/environmental/safety regulations and following the stated procedures. He will act as Commissioning Operation Superintendent when the Commissioning Operation Superintendent is on leave and/or on business assignment.

 Among other activities, the Commissioning Junior Engineer support the Commissioning Engineer in Analyze the Construction completion packages (DAC) once issued from construction and advice CMM or CST about the status of verified DAC prior to formal acceptance by Commissioning team. 

• Facilitate the completion of the pre-commissioning activities through the check of certificates and punch list. 

• Participate in reviewing and planning of availability of lubricants, chemicals, catalysts and other products required for commissioning. 

• When requested from the Commissioning Manager coordinate the field activities assigned to the Supervisors. 

• Participate in preparing the Commissioning Dossier. 

• Collect and organize the discipline DAC punch list ensuring that the punch lists issued by commissioning team are properly filled and correct them when required before forward them to QC.

CONTRACTUAL TYPOLOGIES

 apprenticeship of 36-monthS is the typology of contract that will be proposed for the majority of the vacancies

after a specific evaluation, there might be the possibility to propose a fixed-term contract with the purpose of being confirmed at the end of it, being hired with a permanent contract..

The initial economic offer depends on the specific role. All our offers starts form a Gross Salary base of 26.000 Euro
