PhD Week 2022

Please find attached the program of this year's PhD Week, which will take place from Monday, September 12 to Friday, September 16, 2022, at the Aula Magna of the IRCCS Burlo Garofolo.

Please note that for the activities on Monday and Tuesday morning, as part of your PhD Week, we have organised your attendance at the 57th Inner Ear Biology Workshop (IEB), an international congress that will be held in Trieste this September. 

Your registration to the congress is FREE of charge, by using the following code: K5F6M7X4. While registering you will need to insert the code in the field provided and select the free registration as "PhD Student", which will automatically appear. Please note that the conference will be held on site (there is no hybrid option), at Molo IV (Piazza Duca degli Abruzzi). You can find further information (program, location, etc) and register on the IEB 2022 website: https://ieb2022.it/. In addition, if you are interested, the opening Symposium of the IEB 2022 is also free of charge, but you need to register. 

PhD students are reminded that the teaching week is a must for everyone and the presentations must be prepared and discussed in English; the power point and a written report on the activities carried out must be uploaded to the personal page by September 12th. The 1st and 2nd year presentations must last 15 minutes (10 minutes discussion, 5 minutes questions), while the 3rd year presentations should last 20 minutes (15 minutes discussion and 5 minutes questions). The report must have a maximum length of 2500 characters, excluding spaces and must also be in English. The files of the presentations and the report must be uploaded in PDF format and must include the name of the student, year of course / cycle and supervisor in the first slide and at the beginning of the text.
