Our PhD Students: Enrico Polloni

When:
10/25/2022 - 10/15/2023

My name is Enrico Polloni, I am 27 years old, and I hold a master’s degree in International Relations. After graduating, I attended a II level Specializing-Master in Policy Innovation and Social Impact Assessment at the University of Padua.

Subsequently, I had the opportunity to work as a research fellow at the Department of Economics of the Ca' Foscari University of Venice on a project centred on the implementation of a process of integration of the sectoral policies of the Veneto Region towards complementary sustainability.

During this last period, I had the opportunity to write some papers on the relationship between sustainability, technology, and businesses. Moreover, I am deeply interested in regional development, economic geography, and history.

Over the course of my PhD in Economics & Circular Economy, I would like to acquire the methodological and scientific knowledge needed to support local authorities in formulating and implementing sustainable economic policies.

This PhD will be an invaluable opportunity to improve my skills and to continue my academic and professional career.
