My name is Chiara Ricchetti and I’m extremely glad to pursue a PhD in Circular Economy at the University of Trieste.
After my bachelor’s degree at the University of Parma, I obtained my master’s degree at the University of Torino with a thesis on food sustainability.
Based on my final project, I published my first scientific article on Rivista di Economia e Politica dei Trasporti where I discussed the use of rail mobility in agri-food sector with the analysis of a corporate case study. This topic represents one of my main areas of interest.
During my PhD career, I hope to continue contributing to better understand the role of rail mobility in Italy, by focusing on its use in people and goods movement. Specifically, I’ll take inspiration from my article to analyse the use of rail mobility in agri-food sector.
