My name is Marta Biancolin and I am 25 years old. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Management from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan and a master’s degree in Economia dei Settori Produttivi e Mercati Internazionali from the University of Trieste. I worked as a researcher in Area Science Park dealing with topics like innovation, employment, and Friuli Venezia Giulia companies' competitiveness.
I am attending the first national PhD program coordinated by the Scuola Universitaria Superiore IUSS of Pavia. I believe this will be an excellent opportunity to acquire and further develop economic knowledge and skills thanks to the interuniversity educational path and its multidisciplinary dimension.
The focus of my studies will be on sustainable logistics, circular economy, and all the strategies adopted within the transport sector aimed at reducing climate change, analyzing their impact on the socio-economic and environmental system.
