Our PhD Students: Marco Bellotto

My name is Marco Bellotto, I’m 26 years old and I’m glad to be a new member of the Circular Economy PhD in the University of Trieste.

I’ve carried out my whole academic education in this University, starting from the Bachelor Degree in Statistics and Informatics for Business, Finance and Insurance, then specializing with the Master’s Degree in Business Strategy and Consulting, focusing on marketing and management subjects.

During this PhD I will contribute to the research on the field of sustainability communication realized by companies, trying to individuate innovative models and strategies in order to satisfy the needs of different stakeholders, with a focus on final consumers, exploring their perceptions through qualitative and quantitative methodologies and promoting messages that involve the sustainability of the entire supply chain.

I’m a quite extrovert, positive and determined person; I really like sport, tennis is my greatest passion indeed I’ve been playing it since I was a kid and I also have a tennis instructor qualification.

I’m looking forward to starting this new path, because I’ll have the opportunity to address the fundamental theme of sustainability and conduct my research at the University of Trieste, including an engaging collaboration with illycaffè company.
