Course description: 

The course consists of a theoretical part in which the following topics are dealt with Choice theory, Probabilistic discrete choice theory, Discrete choice modelling, including the multinomial logit model, the nested logit model, the latent class model, the logit random parameter model, and the hybrid model. In the second part, students will learn to apply and estimate a discrete choice model by formulating a questionnaire, collecting data and analyzing using the Apollo package in R.
