Course description: 

The main objective of this elective is to illustrate how the environmental dimension can be embedded in economic modelling. The first (introductory) part is devoted to the materials-energy balance model, which serves to frame the environment-economy relationship. The second (core) part of the course focuses on the techniques to introduce the environment in general equilibrium and in computable general equilibrium modelling.
