Would you accept a challenge in science communication? If so, FameLab might be an activity in your wheelhouse! The contestants are scientists that have only three minutes to explain to the general public their research or a topic of their interest. There are no images or slides allowed, but only words and a few objects on the stage.
Our second-year PhD student Federica Moretti participated in the local Famelab selection of Trieste and won the second place according to the jury and the audience award. The talks were based on her research topics, mainly describing what a nanocomposite is and how the injection molding process works.
