Possible research topics for PhD starting from November 2019 at Trieste

Starting from November 1st 2019, eight Chemistry PhD positions will be available at Trieste University.

The eight positions will be distributed on the following projects (click on the link to download the detailed pdf files):

1) Project 1 "Application of neural networks for therapeutic drug monitoring in anti-tumor treatments" (Supervisor: Dr. Giuseppe Toffoli (CRO Aviano), Cosupervisor: Dr. Federico Berti)

2) Project 2 "Advanced functional polymers for pharmaceutic and cosmetic applications by targeted enzymatic synthesis and derivatization" (Supervisor: Prof.ssa Lucia Gardossi)

3) Project 3 "Multi-target kinase inhibitors for effective control of neuroinflammation" (Supervisor: Dr.ssa Stephanie Federico)

4) Project 4 "Supramolecular nanostructures for sensing of biomolecules" (Supervisor: Dr. Paolo Pengo)

5) For this position, the candidate will be free to choose one of the projects from this list.

8) The fellowship for this position is financed by Fondo Sociale Europeo. The candidate will be free to choose one of the projects from this list.
